What are the guidelines for submitting a digital photo?

Photos must be submitted as .jpegs at a resolution of no less than 300 dpi. They should not be cropped or altered from the original digital format.

Please email all photos to pictures@properpear.com. In the subject line, list your order number and please name the photo file with your first and last name. In the email, indicate whether you would like the photo to be in black/white or color.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most items are shipped directly from the manufacturer via UPS ground or U.S. Postal Service. If you order items from different manufacturers, your items will be shipped separately.

Orders take between 3 – 5 business days to process AFTER you approve the proof. The exception is stamps from Three Designing Women which take 2 – 3 weeks.

Can you take rush orders?

Yes. Most items can be shipped UPS 2-Day (or similar timeframe from a different carrier). If you would like rush shipping please contact us for options and prices.

Are proofs available?

All orders come with one complimentary email proof. If additional proofs are needed, there may be an additional charge depending on the manufacturer.

May I order birth announcements before my baby is born? If so, may I receive my birth announcement envelopes ahead of time?

Yes, you can place an announcement order before your child is born. Please be sure to note in the “special instructions” section when placing your order that it’s a pre-order and that you’ll contact us once the baby is born. Once your child is born just email us the information at customerservice@properpear.com and be sure to reference your order number.

Do you have a store?

Proper Pear currently only sells online and by appointment to local customers.

What type of payment do you accept?

Proper Pear accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We also accept payment through PayPal. We currently do not accept checks, cash or money orders.

Do you charge sales tax?

Proper Pear collects sales tax from Florida state residents, as it is the state in which we have a physical presence. Residents in other states will not be charged sales tax.

Do you ship internationally?

No. Unfortunately at this time Proper Pear is only set up for shipping within the United States.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Once an order is placed it goes into the queue for production. If you want to change or cancel an order please call immediately. Once an order goes into production it can not be canceled.

How much is shipping?

Shipping rates are calculated based on the total amount of your order. A list of shipping prices is below.

What is your return policy?

We can only accept returns on non-customized items such as boxed stationery. We are not able to accept returns on custom orders such as invitation, labels, stamp, etc.

Can I order blank stock of your invitation and stationery?

Yes. Many of the lines we sell also sell items in black stock for you to print at home. The following designers sell blank stock: Daisy Princess Paperie, Devonshire Paper Company, Inviting Company, Prints Charming, Putman House, SanLori and Whitney English. If you are interested in blank stock please contact us.

Can I call someone if I have questions?

Yes. Please feel free to call us at 813-288-0472. Proper Pear is a small company so you may need to leave a message if we’re assisting someone else. Also feel free to contact us online with any questions you many have. We will get back to you by the next business day.

Is my personal information safe?

Yes! Proper Pear is a secure site so your information is safe.

How can i track my order? Once you place an order, you’ll receive an email confirmation. An email will also be sent with shipping details once an order is shipped.
